Yummy soy scents was started back in 2009 when we needed a safer non toxic way.
We make all my candles in small batches to ensure the best quality and we put pride and love to all my orders for my customers.
We source out pure soy wax, use cotton wicks and premium scent oils. We do not use any perfumes as we know many of us are sensitive to scents.
We take pride in our little business and make some unique candles for each season from basic to humor.

How do I care for my candle?
- Read the warning sticker on the bottom of your candle
- Burn candle within sight
- Keep candle away from things that catch fire
- Keep away from drafts (e.g., do not put a burning candle in front of an open window, in front of a fan, etc.)
- Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time!
- Keep wax pool free of debris (e.g., wick trimmings)
- Trim wick to 1/4 inch before lighting the candle (the first time you light your candle though, you do not need to do this)
- Never touch or move a hot candle. Moving a candle when the wax is melted can affect the way a candle burns in the future
- Stop using candle when 1/2 an inch of wax remains in the container
Tips to keep your candle in good condition.
- Make sure your candles are at room temperature before lighting. Lighting a cold candle can cause tunneling.
- When lighting your candle for the first time, you may need to let it burn for upwards of 3-4 hours for the candle to reach a full melt pool. A full melt pool on the first light sets the tone for clean burns on future lights.
- If your candle has tunneled, simply scoop out the wax on the side(s) of the jar to make the wax level to the melt pool or lower to prevent the wick from drowning.
